Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the Word of God. That all 66 books is inspired and empowered by God, infallible and is the absolute authority in our lives, revealing to us the Way, the Truth, and the Life only found in Jesus Christ.

We believe in one eternal God who exists as three separate persons; the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life as He walked among men, demonstrated the authority and power of God in works and speech, died on the cross, rose from the dead on the third day, and is now seated at the right hand of God having accomplished all that is necessary for man’s salvation.

We believe that all men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God, that Jesus Christ is the only way of salvation, and that for the salvation of lost and sinful man, repentance of sin and faith in Jesus Christ results in regeneration by the Holy Spirit. Furthermore we believe that God will reward the righteous with eternal life in heaven, and that He will banish the unrighteous to everlasting punishment in hell.

We believe Baptism in water is by immersion, and it is a direct commandment of our Lord directly following one receiving salvation in Christ. The ordinance is a symbol of the Christian's  identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection.

We believe the Holy Spirit is continuing the work He started at Pentecost empowering believers to live a godly life with fruit showing forth and being a witness for Jesus. The Baptism in the Holy Ghost and fire is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the new birth.  This baptism is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit, gives utterance.

We believe in the ordinance of Communion and taking the bread and juice in remembrance of what our Lord Jesus has done for us through His blood and body.

We believe the true Church is composed of all born-again believers in Christ, regardless of denominational affiliation.

We believe all born-again believers have been commissioned to share the complete Gospel to all the world.

We believe in divine healing, that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever and that physical/emotional healing is for today and is wrought by the power of God through the prayer of faith, and by the laying on of hands.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; the saved unto the resurrection of eternal life and the lost unto the resurrection of damnation and eternal punishment.

We believe that the ministry of evangelism (sharing and proclaiming the message of salvation is only possible by grace through faith in Jesus Christ) and that discipleship (helping followers of Christ grow up into maturity in Christ) is a responsibility of all followers of Jesus Christ.

We believe God’s plan for human sexuality is to be expressed only within the context of marriage, that God created man and woman as unique biological persons made for each other. God instituted monogamous marriage between male and female as the foundation of the family and the basic structure of human society. For this reason, we believe that marriage is exclusively the union of one male and one female.

We believe that we must dedicate ourselves to prayer, and to using the gifts that God has given to each one of us to the service of our Lord Jesus and His body, the church.

We believe that human life is sacred from conception to its natural end; and that we must have concern for the physical and spiritual needs of our fellowmen.
